Position: Satellite Communication Engineer
Locations: Tampa, FL, Hawaii
Overview
As a Satellite Communication Engineer you will be responsible for assisting the Government with designing, developing, and testing satellite communication capabilities. The ideal candidate will be familiar with antenna theory, waveform propagation, and modulation/demodulation of signal types used in satellite communications, particularly VSAT. You will create new novel solutions and/or integrate new features and maintain existing solutions supporting computer satellite communications using Government-specified software and hardware.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
• 6+ years' experience with Satellite communications and collection of satellite signals
• 4+ years’ experience with the design, configuration, and/or deployment of appropriate antennas for the receipt of satellite communication signals
• Experience implementing project life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy).
• Ability to work independently and with small teams.
• Must be able to track and report status directly to the customer.

• Experience with low-level programming.
• Experience with the national security system and Intelligence Community, and/or Department of Defense
